【2026 AHS Taiwan Cultural Discovery Trip】

In Spring 2026, AHS will lead students on an in-depth learning journey combining natural scenery, cultural exploration, hands-on experiences, and Taiwanese culture! From Taipei's iconic landmarks and the unique rock formations of the North Coast to the mountain culture of Miaoli, Lukang Old Town, and Alishan tea plantations, students will experience the diverse and captivating charm of Taiwan's culture in the most authentic way.

This trip will include visits to Taipei 101, Maokong Gondola, Beitou Hot Spring Museum, Yehliu Geopark, and Lukang Old Street, exploring Taiwan's unique blend of modern urban life, historical culture, and natural landscapes. The itinerary also includes cultural experiences at Baishatun Gongtian Temple, intertidal zone ecological exploration, and an indigenous cultural park, providing a deeper understanding of Taiwan's most representative folk beliefs and local characteristics.

The trip features a variety of immersive interactive activities, including indigo dyeing DIY, wood carving and painting, railway cycling, a jade washing experience, archery, and a tea plantation tour. These activities allow students to experience more than just a trip; they can deeply immerse themselves in Taiwanese culture and life through hands-on participation.

In addition to rich cultural and natural exploration, students will also enjoy the flavors of Din Tai Fung, traditional food streets, Hakka cuisine, aboriginal dishes, clay pot chicken, and classic Taiwanese night market delicacies.
